RESEARCH TECHNICIANJob Description & Requirements:As we continue our multi-county geographic expansion project, we wish to attract, hire and retain individuals who are exceptionally intelligent, welcome an intellectual challenge, are organized and logical thinkers, and who systematically follow logical steps to reach logical conclusions. Such individuals likely enjoy reading books, solving riddles, working crossword puzzles and/or Sudoku, and other such mind-stimulating tasks.
Duties will include creating database edits for a given geographic area, mentally visualizing a real property parcel's polygon from a review of the parcel's metes and bounds legal description, and determining which real property parcels a complex legal document affects. Experience with real property/land records is a plus, but not required. In addition to the attributes described above, the successful candidate will have strong computer skills, be a quick learner, possess a strong work ethic, be persistent and a non-smoker.
